Australia Day long weekend
As most of you may be aware, Vikings were scheduled to play Rebels at Viking park this sunday the 25th of January. Unfortunately we have a very high number of players away or not available for this fixture and we have had no choice but to inform the Rebels Club of our situation and subsequently forfeit all grades. For the handful of of players that did make themselves available we certainly appreciate your intentions however your services will not be required this weekend. We certainly hope that the governing body looks hard at this dilema and makes the appropriate changes for next season. Please all enjoy your long weekend and keep safe.

COLTS NEW START DATE 30 JAN
We have a new start date for our first training session due to a lack of players around for the 26 Jan. Same venue and start time, hope to see you all there.

COLTS BACK AFTER THE BREAK
The colts team will resume training on the 26 Jan at Viking Park. Training will start at 4:45 and finish at 6:45. If you can not make it due to the holiday please let the coaches know.
U/13 Grey set to go again in 2009!!!!!!
Training for the U/13 Grey team will commence again on Wednesday the 4th of Febuary at 5.30 pm @ Viking Park. The first game of the second half is on Saturday the 7th of Febuary @ Hawker @ 9 am on field number 1 against Ainslie. We only have 2 more round robin stage games to play against Ainslie and Indians before moving on to the divisional stage and then the finals. I am confident that we will be around at the pointy end of the season!!! Our kids are tremedous ambassadors for our club and what ever the outcome, they have done themselves, their Parents and their club proud.
